The topics are:

  • Determining prior knowledge this means finding out what your students already know.

  • Assessing the needs of learners by testing them or interviewing them at the beginning of the course.

  • Motivating learners this means how you can interest your students so that they are involved in their learning.

  • Language learner strategies which will help you understand how students learn.

  • Teaching, children, teenagers, and adults explains about the methods and approach used to teach each group.

  • Teaching beginning, intermediate and advanced levels contrasts each level of students, methods used and topics taught.
