This Unit involves finding out about your students and how they learn BSL
The topics are:
- Determining prior knowledge this means finding out what your students already know.
- Assessing the needs of learners by testing them or interviewing them at the beginning of the course.
- Motivating learners this means how you can interest your students so that they are involved in their learning.
- Language learner strategies which will help you understand how students learn.
- Teaching, children, teenagers, and adults explains about the methods and approach used to teach each group.
- Teaching beginning, intermediate and advanced levels contrasts each level of students, methods used and topics taught.
