BSL - Video English - Transcript

Here are some examples of morphemes

I-ASK-YOU, I-GIVE-YOU - ASK and GIVE are free morphemes but "I" and "YOU" here are bound

OPERATE-ON-NOSE, OPERATE-ON-EAR OPERATE-ON-HAND - OPERATE is one morphemes and the locations of the operation give other morphemes

THREE-POUNDS, FOUR-POUNDS, FIVE-POUNDS - the number on the hand and the location of the chip give us the different morphemes

SIGN-CASUALLY, SIGN-FOR-AGES, SIGN-DETERMINEDLY, SIGN-WITH-ENJOYMENT - here the sign is on the hands to show the free morpheme and the face and changes in movement add extra morphemes.
