Verbs often use classifiers, especially based on shape (e.g. the idea of a whole thing moving can be shown in the BSL verb “something”-MOVES-ITSELF” that can be CAR-MOVES or PERSON-MOVES or ANIMAL-MOVES depending on the handshape classifier).
